Lowes’ 2nd grade was recently visited by Mitch
Myers, morning show D.J. at Electric 96.9.
He hooked the kids with clues about needing a microphone and headphones
in his occupation. He read to them his
favorite book, Where the Wild Things Are. He also gave many details about his profession
in radio. The children were given an
opportunity to ask various questions that interested them about his job. The next day, the students waited anxiously
to hear him give a shout out to Lowes Elementary 2nd grade on the
radio.
